The unique work of James R. Nicholson is different. Very different. The intricate details of Nicholson's work were meticulously rendered by the tools of an unlikely trade, Dentistry. These unorthodox tools lend themselves to the incredible level of workmanship achieved in his work, from the hand-carved details on every silver shot, to the miniature jewelry found on his reoccurring hand motifs found in many of his necklaces and pendants. Many of these motifs hold cultural significance, drawing on Nicholson's Choctaw heritage.
